King Ovan was the King of Saturn and is now the King of Neptune. He was the husband of Queen Sakura and now he is the husband of Queen Riva. He is the father of Ryou, Setsuna, Haruka, Michiru, Makoto, Minako, Rei, Ami, Serenity, and Hotaru.
Queen Riva is the Queen of Neptune. She is the wife of King Ovan and the mother of Princess Michiru. She is the daughter of a merman and mermaid. She stands behind her husband and tries to teach her daughter to stand behind the one who becomes her husband. She is obedient and quick witted.
Princess Michiru is the daughter of Queen Riva and King Ovan. She is the granddaughter of a merman and mermaid, making it to where she can turn into a mermaid when ever she wants. She hates her mother's teachings and just wants to be near the sea. She is head strong, quick tempered, quick witted, and ready to defend the people she cares for.
